Couture Fabric & Haberdashery Coordinator

Term: Full time, Permanent

Location : South Kensington (Atelier)

 We are looking for a Couture Fabric & Haberdashery Coordinator  to manage flow & consumption of all Fabrics & Trims related to Haute Couture Collection and Client looks for Ralph & Russo. This role will support the financial functions of the business to understand accurate spend of all Fabrics & Trims.



  • Maintain the couture fabrics & trims storage areas, ensuring all areas are perfectly clean and organised at all times and all fabrics, trims & haberdashery are clearly labelled
  • Archive unused or remaining fabrics from previous collections or client orders
  • Quality control for all new fabric deliveries, correctly labelling all incoming fabrics, reporting any faults to the Fabrics & Trims team & returning fabrics to supplier if necessary
  • Conduct bi-annual stock take of all fabrics & trims to monitor fabric levels and ensure all material loss is clearly identified and reported
  • Liaising with & maintaining a good relationship with all suppliers
  • Allocate rolls to collection or client looks & placing in according areas as and when required
  • Regularly check levels of stock, keeping track of general stock fabrics & haberdashery, reordering when necessary to ensure sufficient levels at all times
  • Work with the technical team to prepare dress packs for couturiers with swatches of all fabrics & final trims needed for each look & organise dying/pleating when needed
  • Ensure consumption forms are issued, completed accurately by Couturiers & filed on Dropbox (clients & collection). Reporting consumption spend regularly to Haute Couture Pricing Manager & Finance Team
  • To actively maintain a tracking system for all incoming stock, fabrics & trims- to be updated daily
  • Collect sample fabrics used in collection for fabric bible and to send to suppliers for panels & swatches.
  • Liaise with Atelier Assistant to coordinate packing of fabrics & trims for the Paris Haute Couture shows, manage & distribute raw materials in Paris Atelier & collect accurate meterage throughout
  • Liaise with Haute Couture Pricing Manager to update fabric consumption/spend throughout & after show
  • Work with Haute Couture Technical teams to source, develop or customize fabrics & trims


  • Must have knowledge of luxury fabrics & trims, experience within a Couture Atelier preferable
  • Good knowledge of garment construction to enable efficient communication with HC Technical teams
